Questions
Where should I put the card?
Where customers wait or pay: on the counter, on each table, in the bag with the receipt, by the door on the way out.
What should the card say?
Ask plainly and offer nothing in return. “Tell us how we did” is fine. “Leave us 5 stars” or “Review us for 10% off” breaks Google’s rules.
Can I use it for Yelp?
No. Yelp asks businesses not to request reviews, and says reviews that were asked for are less likely to be shown. The card works for Google.
What paper should I use?
Any printer paper works. For a counter or table card, print on thick paper or card stock, or slip the print into an acrylic stand.
