Google review link and QR code generator

Paste the Google Maps link to your business. You get the link that opens your review form in one tap, and a QR code for the counter, the receipt or the table.

Open your listing on Google Maps and copy the address, or use Share → Copy link.

How to use your review link

  1. Send it the same day. Ask by text or email within a day of the visit, while it is still fresh.
  2. Send it to every customer. Google’s rules forbid asking only the ones you expect to be happy.
  3. Print the QR code where people wait or pay: the counter, the receipt, a card on the table.
  4. Offer nothing in return. A discount or a gift for a review breaks Google’s rules and, in the United States, the FTC’s rule on fake reviews.

Questions

What is a Google review link?

A link that opens the “write a review” form for your business on Google directly. The customer taps it, picks a star rating and types. Without it they have to find your listing and the review button themselves.

Is it allowed to send customers a review link?

Yes. Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews. It does not allow offering anything in return, or asking only customers you expect to be happy.

Does the link or the QR code expire?

No. Both point to your listing’s place ID on Google, which stays the same as long as the listing exists.

Do you store the link I paste?

No. The tool reads the place ID from the link and returns the review link. Nothing is saved and no email is asked for.

My link was not recognised. What should I paste?

Open your business on Google Maps in a browser and copy the address from the address bar, or use the Share button on the listing and copy that link. A link to a Google search results page does not work.

Want to know which spot gets scanned?

This tool makes one code. ReviewDeck clients get a separate code for each place they put one, with a count of scans per code, and email campaigns that send the link for them. Run the free scan to see where your reviews stand.
