FAQ
Straight answers.
We’d rather tell you no than overpromise. Here is exactly how this works.
01What’s the difference between Cleanup and Shield?
Cleanup removes the bad reviews you have right now. You pay per review removed, and only after removal is confirmed. Shield is a monthly plan that keeps your profiles growing: reviews checked every 6 hours with alerts, fresh reviews from your real customers, search ranking and AI visibility, plus removals included every month on Shield Pro and Multi, and 25–35% off extra removals when a new bad review needs to come down.
02Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free monitoring covers one location: create an account, add its review profiles and see all its reviews in your dashboard, checked once a day. You don’t enter a card to sign up. You can ask us to remove a review from a free account too, and you pay the Cleanup price for it only if it is removed. Shield plans are not limited to one location, check every 6 hours and add the features listed under Pricing.
03What is AI recommendation?
More people now ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini questions like “Where should I eat in Tampa?” or “Which movers can I trust in New Jersey?”. These tools recommend businesses based on their reviews, ratings and what is written about them online. We strengthen those signals so your business is more likely to be the one they suggest. Included in Shield Pro and Shield Multi.
04Do I get my own dashboard?
Yes. Everyone gets a private dashboard, including free accounts. It shows all your reviews across platforms, your ratings over time and your search ranking. You can flag any review you want removed straight from the dashboard, and we start working on it right away. You also get status updates there and by email.
05Which platforms do you cover?
Google, Trustpilot, G2, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Facebook, Booking.com, Airbnb, Glassdoor, Indeed, Reddit, Clutch and most other review sites. Ask us about any platform.
06How effective is your review dispute service?
We match each review to the exact platform policy it breaks, build the case with evidence and follow up until there is a final decision. Removal decisions are made by the platform, so results are never guaranteed, which is why Cleanup is paid only after removal is confirmed.
07How long does it take to see results?
Most confirmed removals land within 7–10 days of filing, depending on the platform’s queue and whether a case needs an appeal. On Shield, clients usually see their rating and search visibility improve month by month as new reviews come in.
08How much does it cost?
Cleanup is charged per review removed, only after removal is confirmed, and the price depends on the platform: $299 for Google, Trustpilot, Facebook and Tripadvisor, $399 for G2, Capterra, Yelp and Glassdoor, and $499 for Reddit, industry and other sites. Shield is $199, $349 or $699 a month with no commitment (cancel anytime). Shield Pro includes 1 removal a month and Shield Multi 2; extra removals are 25%, 30% or 35% off the Cleanup price. Monitoring one location is free. Taxes are added where they apply.
09How and when do I pay for a removal?
Only after the platform has taken the review down. Once we confirm the removal, an invoice for that one review appears on the Billing page of your dashboard and we let you know. You pay it there, on a secure checkout page run by our payment provider, Commas, or as arranged with your account manager. Nothing is taken from a card automatically for a removal. Removals included in Shield Pro or Shield Multi show as $0 invoices. Each review is invoiced on its own, so you never pay for one that stayed up.
10What if only some of my reviews get removed?
You pay only for the reviews actually removed, not the number we filed. If none come down, you pay nothing.
11Is this compliant with Google’s and other platforms’ policies?
Yes. We use each platform’s own reporting and appeal process, the same tools available to any business owner, and only for reviews that break its rules. We never write, buy or incentivize reviews.
12What if the review comes back?
Tell us and we report it again at no charge, for as long as you’re a client. The original fee is not refunded, but if the review came back within 30 days of removal and we have not had it removed again within 60 days of you telling us, we credit that fee to your account against future invoices.
13Do you give refunds?
You are invoiced for a removal only after the review is gone, so removal fees are not refunded. Shield is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime; a month that has started is not refunded. Billing mistakes are always corrected in full. The details are in our Refund policy at reviewdeck.co/refunds.
14What if the same person keeps leaving new bad reviews?
Shield is built for this. We check your profiles every 6 hours and alert you to new bad reviews. Flag them in your dashboard and we file them at your Shield rate (or inside your included removals), reporting repeat offenders to the platform as a pattern, which carries more weight than single reports.
15How is this different from flagging the review myself?
A flag with one click rarely gets reviewed in detail. We match each review to the exact policy it breaks, build the case with evidence, file it through the right channel, and follow up and appeal when the first answer is no.
16Will the reviewer find out?
No. Platforms do not tell reviewers who reported them, and we never contact the reviewer.
